RadarScope is a specialized display utility for weather enthusiasts and that allows you to browse NOAA's public NEXRAD Level 3 data feed.
View and animate Doppler base reflectivity, base radial velocity, storm relative radial velocity, and estimated rainfall products for any radar site in the lower 48 United States.
NEXRAD Level 3 data are rendered in original radial format for high detail and updated from the National Weather Service every 5-10 minutes.
Pinch/stretch to zoom in/out, scroll around the map, select from more than 140 radar sites.
You can plot your location on the map, display the names of over 25,000 cities, and tap and hold the color legend to see the data values.
NOTE that it does NOT support data for Puerto Rico, Guam, Alaska or Hawaii.
