FreeSMS - Unlimited free texting / SMS for iPhone and iPod Touch

FreeSMS lets you compose Unlimited FREE text messages. Never pay to send a text again! Send texts to your contacts or friends that use our supported carriers. For the most part these carriers are in the United States.

UPDATE AVAILABLE WITH:
Ability to add current location to your message. Recipient's will receive a link to load a map of your current location!


Easy to use interface:
1) Type a phone number OR select from your contacts list
2) Type in your message
3) Choose the recipient's carrier -
If you don't know it you can select all carriers
4) Click "Add My Location" to add a link to a map with your location!
5) Click "Send SMS"

If the phone number of the person is:
(111) 222-3333
In the To: field you would type:
1112223333

Make sure the phone number is in this format to be able to send the text to your contact. If you choose a contact from your phone contacts you may need to modify the phone number to get it into this format. FreeSMS will take out the parenthesis and dashes for you, but you may need to remove a leading "1" from the number. See the screenshots for examples.

Your text will be sent through your email account so you CAN receive replies back straight to your email. Never be left out again!
